PARKING AND BUS LANE LEGISLATION

PARKING

The Traffic Management Act 2004 allows councils to enforce parking Regulations. They do this by issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and sometimes also removing (towing away) or immobilising (clamping) vehicles. Unpaid parking penalties are enforced as debts through the County Courts.
